I am saving photos of Nate here during their first communion last Friday. He is growing so tall for his age.

He is only nine years old but he looks like a grown-up.
With his dad and mom.
He was one of the readers during the mass. CONGRATULATIONS NATE๐Ÿ™‚ So proud of you.

They came here yesterday to celebrate New Year with us.

After lunch, Nate said, “can we go out at the garden Nonna?”

I asked him why and he added, “I want to pick kalamansi”. That’s Philippine lime.

I told him they are still so small so I showed our two jackfruits.

Can we play instead?” . Then he began making faces and his signature sign which is thumbs up. He has grown so tall and a little more chubby since the last time they stayed here March last year. I took some photos of course..

It is always a thrill having Nate around. When will we see each other again?

So this was Nate’s birthday gift to Nissa, an art project which he did yesterday. I love it.

We could create an artist yet in him.

I took a lot of pictures of Nate when he and Obet were here last March while Nissa was in the hospital.

Time flies….really so fast!

Amidst this deadly pandemic, weย  still strive toย  have a normal life and one of it is enrolling our precious boy in second grade. They started their online class yesterday and Nissa told me it was a hard change from the face-to-face interaction done in school. All modules were uploaded online but a kid of seven would hardly know what to do without a mother’s supervision even if he can easily navigate his tab. Nissa bought him one a few weeks ago purelyย  for online learning. She said she was like a teacher unprepared in a single-student class. I told her, in time, they would adjust to it. Her problem is, her mother-in-law is not a techie and it might be hard for her to handle Nate’s online classes when Nissa and Obetย  report to the office twice a week.

Good thing, Nate was really enthusiastic to learn. Nissa forwarded some photos of the spare room in their house converted to Nate’s study.

Nate’s study corner with his medals from Nursery to Grade One prominently displayed.

Second grade, school year 2020-2021.

Good luck baby. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.

Nissa sent me this photo yesterday. It’s Nate’s latest achievements in Grade 1. By August 24 if schools push through, he’ll be in Grade 2.

And she accompanied it with these inspiring words.

Nate, ever since you started schooling, you’ve never failed to make us proud of your scholastic achievements. You growing up to be a sweet, loving, brave and generous kid means everything. Your medals and awards are just icing on the cake. We hope you know how very happy you make us. We love you, dear Nate.ย Congratulationsย on a job well done!

1st grade done, next.

Nate was left home whenย  Nissa and Obet came to visit usย  yesterday but Nissa sent these pictures of him taken today.

Chubby, chubby, tabachingching!

Look at his photos. I just laughed seeing him and I miss him all the more.

Look at how he poses in front of the camera with matching shades…haha!

Enjoying the water.

It still seems like summer here. The sun is in its full glory.

Ang mag-ina….bow!

Two front teeth still missing? They all look happy.

In all the more than four months that I haven’t seen him, he has definitely grown.

Haha, I smiled when I saw this. Nate’s simple gift to Nissa on Valentine’s Day. Lookย at the crude style those paper hearts were made….beautiful.ย  It’s a note (again) saying she is an excellent cook and a rose. Sweet. Love it. This is not the first time he wrote toย  Nissa. When we were at the hospital a few months ago, he also wrote the same thing that Nissa is #1 when it comes to cooking.

See you in a while Nate.

Good thing, Josef stayed at home today finally fixing my PC which I could not boot earlier. When you’re not used to posting on a tab, you get confused and it is quite hard.

Took some pictures of Nate when they came over for Christmas lunch. We played at the garden with his water guns.

ย

Look at how focused he is in inspecting one of the water guns

ย

Haha, he found a way to fill it with water easily.

ย

The Blue Boy in action. He called himself that and he called me The Orange Lady.

ย

I actually took a video of this…two minutes of bliss!

Here is his latest picture with his mom taken just yesterday. He has become a little chubby but I love how he looks now. He has even grown taller.

Haha, happy days are here again, I could finally post photos. Hopefully thisย  PC would last longer.

Nissa calls this “pampagood vibes”, that feeling of being positive and grateful for all the graces that comes Nate’s way.

He is a grader now (Grade one)in the same school where he spent his kindergarten. His hard works and efforts are rewarded.

Great job Nate. Nonna is proud of you ๐Ÿ™‚
