Oh my!

So proud of this little guy (not so little anymore), he is now almost as tall as I am.

Nissa just forwarded a copy of Nate’s grades for their third grading period. Everything went up despite that most of the time he is unsupervised because Obet and Nissa are now reporting for work in some days of the week. My gosh, Science subject and Math are almost perfect at 99 % each. They are still online every day. I think he is more knowledgeable about his tab than I am about mine 😘

What a smart little guy. So proud being a Nonna.

Back in the last week of March, my son-in-law Obet and Nate stayed with us for four days while Nissa was in the hospital, she was found positive of Covid and was confined for a week.

I took advantage of the days he was here, taking photos, watching him attend his online class, singing and whistling and playing with his toys.

Kids and students here are still in the online mode in their schooling.

So far Nate has done well for the last two quarters. They don’t have ranking in honors though this school year. I am sharing his grades here.

Just to summarize because the online photo is so small:

Christian Living and Character Education – 95

Mother Tongue – 95

Filipino – 96

English – 97

Mathematics – 98

Araling Panlipunan – 96

Conduct – A

So proud of this little guy. He is in grade 2 now.

Speaking of being so active, Nissa said that while the rest of the kids were silent, Nate kept raising his hands to answer all the questions. Questions like “why do you need to share an apron”, “whose favorite are  chicken McDo, burger, nuggets”?

He is a very friendly little guy. Nissa has this to say:

So Nate and I had an agreement that he’ll only get a toy once he reaches a certain number of points. Points are awarded based on his chores at home, how he does in school, how he behaves, etc. He’s being very cooperative.. (YES! the plan is working!)

A while ago I told him I would give extra points if he could just sit still and behave. I could tell it was killing him, lol. He was trying his very best but when he couldn’t take it anymore, he blurted, “This is the way I am, Mom! I just can’t sit still and do nothing!”
Hahaha!

Sometimes, I can’t believe I’m talking to a 5 yr old.

I told her Nate is five going twenty.

When you have a grandson this active, there is really no dull moment when he is around.
