Sometimes I often smile and laugh about Nate’s poses in front of the camera. He has a signature pose which he learned  years ago when he joined an acting workshop one summer.

He looks like an endorser of a fruit juice ad 🙂

Some of my friends say that his looks is more on the side of the Abuel which is my maiden name. Some say he looks more like one of my brothers. I say, it’s more like Nissa and Obet combined (but of course).

Mother and son, enjoying the moments together. This was also taken yesterday when they celebrated Father’s Day.

the kiss….

That’s how he kisses when in the mood with a tight hug and tight embrace. Nissa said, “araw ni Daddy ngayon pero may eksena pa rin si Mommy”.  Yeay 🙂

DREAMS AND ESCAPES

So it was another road trip for the family and Nate enjoyed the water.  Enjoying the rest of the summer at Adventure Beach Waterpark in Subic, Zambales. Nate prefers the latter compared to Ocean Adventure.

Our little boy who is not so little anymore is quite adventurous. He is not afraid to try new things.

Paddling on a banana boat

Enjoying the water.

He found a friend.

Father and son

…and we make memories.

I think of those times when we were excited to bring him home but he was left at the hospital because of sepsis. Nissa labored for so long and she was induced eventually but her OB wanted her to give birth the natural way until the latter decided to have Nate delivered by caesarian section.  By then, the baby in her womb has eaten his own waste and he has to be incubated for almost a month.  His paediatrician was good. We brought him back to the hospital two days after we…

DREAMS AND ESCAPES

It’s Nate’s first day as a grade schooler. Another milestone for our baby. He is really so tall for his age.

Compare the above photo when he started in nursery class when he was just around three and a half.

Three years of schooling before reaching grade school.  My gosh, and there are twelve years before one graduates in high school or Grade 12. Four or five years further on to college.
